These last few months have been insane. I have so much to share, and my challenge is finding time to share it all. I do wish I could just blog by speaking into my phone as I go about my day, and have it automatically format and edit, and post all on its own. I’ve found I’m enjoying live video over on my A Family Lives Here Facebook page. So I may do more of that. So if you’re interested be sure to “like” the page to stay up to date. Yo.
Literally, as soon as school ended on June 3rd of this year, we left for LA, and then flew to Paris on June 4th arriving on June 5th Paris time. It was an epic summer. It was successful because we planned and researched like crazy, and kept a lot of things, and our schedule adaptable for spontaneous outings as well. My husband had to return home June 21 to go back to work, but the girls and I stayed in Europe until July 15th. We all learned a lot, and discovered we really like hanging out with each other.
In fact, if you want a peek into our summer European adventure. Check out our instagram channels, Queen Scarlett, A Family Lives Here and Sisters in Vogue. Please follow as we adventure through life together with unique perspectives.
Now of course, summer is over, and we’re all back into the swing of things with routines and school days. Yes, it is hard for us, as we are spirited, but we are surviving. In the meantime, I’ve had the blessing of down-time so that ideas could marinate in my head, and hope you’ll stick around to seem them birth to fruition.
I’ve been blogging online since 2004, and as someone who is not a marathon runner, or a runner period, that is a darn long time. So that means I like to shake things up from time-to-time because I don’t want to get bored, and don’t want to bore you.
Enough about me, what have you been up to? What matters to you these days? What would you like to learn about? I love learning, because there are so many things and ideas that I haven’t yet studied enough. It’s refreshing. Keeps me feeling young and inquisitive.
Have a wonderful, HAPPY Friday! I adore Fridays.
