I’m the first to admit. I’m not good at toy organization. I’m good with other types of organization, but toys, heavens, they make me tired.
I vacillate between wanting our LEGOS readily available for my daughters to see, and enjoy, or hiding them so the chaos doesn’t drive me crazy. We bought LEGOS for heavens sake, they should be played with. However, I don’t like to see them all over the place, so I stick them in boxes. Since my daughters are visual like I am, we forget about them, or are simply too lazy to pull them out of the boxes. The trouble is, once they’re in boxes, no one is using them and playing with them, even though I suppose there’s value in not irritating me, but then I feel like it’s a waste to have LEGOS simply to store them in my home.
See my problem?
Which is why, when I was introduced to Pley, I realized my toy organization issues, would be gone.
How? Because I can pay a monthly rental price, and my kids can get the toys shipped free to our home. My girls can enjoy them, then once they’re bored, send them back and get a new set to build. Suddenly I realized how much fun pleying with toy organization could be.
In other words, I don’t have to store or look at toys sitting in plain sight forever. Pley sends the set, the LEGOS make a short visit; like a relative you can only take so much of, no matter how much you adore them, and before the toys wear out their welcome, a new one takes its place.
I have a feeling the folks at Pley, totally get parents and kids. For one thing they have a huge selection of toys, including educational toys (400+ LEGOS, building and robotic sets) with more types of toys that will be launched soon. I love the Pley concept, because I like to be frugal with my toy budget. Some of these LEGOS and building sets, aren’t exactly fitting into my frugal toy budget. With Pley my kids can enjoy an extensive collection of LEGOS, and rent as many as they can play with in a month, for a set subscription fee that’s less than a LEGO set. Yup. It’s a no-brainer for me.
In addition, sometimes my kids buy toys that they end up not liking. Pley is a great resource for kids to try a toy or building set. If my kids don’t like the rented toy/set, no big deal. Send it back. What if my kid loves a toy/set? Well, since we just tried it out, I could rent it again, or purchase the toy at the store knowing that my kid will actually enjoy it. Either way, I feel like a winner!
Have you tried Pley? Will you? If you do, or have, please let me know how you like the service. I’m trying it for three months, and will report back.
ps. This is a sponsored post, and Pley is also providing me three months to try out their service. All opinions, gratitude and excitement are my own.
