I haven’t gone on a camping trip, since I was a teenager.
My daughters went on their first camping adventure with Daddy, last year. They loved it so much they insisted that this year, we all go camping together.
On last year’s Daddy/Daughter Camping trip my daughter found a friend. She named him Buddy the frog.
We went camping in July. I sorta, loved it. I enjoyed seeing how much fun my daughters had. I loved cooking outdoors and finding moments of solitude.
I whipped together my scrambled egg mix to make cooking easier. They were tasty!
Little one wanted roasted marshmallows for breakfast. Why not?
Something about the outdoors, makes preparing food even more enjoyable.
Oldest thinks camping is so relaxing. She looks totally chill.
He protects us from mosquitoes and does all the heavy lifting.
Made these berry muffins before the trip. Perfect for breakfast.
The girls had a blast planting branches in the dirt, using our tiny sweeper.
I had to bring some decor. Solar lanterns.
We camped for two nights. Our fabulous amigos joined us on the last night.
Next time, we need to camp where there are flushing toilets. I’m just saying. I’d be a lot more comfortable with modern facilities.
In August the girls went on their second Daddy/Daughter camp out. They had a fabulous time of course. Maybe we can squeeze in one more family camp out before the weather turns cold. I’ll keep you posted.
