I tend to do everything quickly, headfirst. That’s how I am with reading. I want to find a book that sucks me in and keeps me throttled in its grasp until the last page…where I’m left wanting more. This book is completely different than my other reads. It’s peaceful, contemplative and beautiful. It’s a tiny book – but it’s taking me much longer to finish. I finished Pillars of the Earth in 2.5 days. This one, I’m savoring and meditating…I like to sit still and find peace.
